5. Always Crashing the Same Car by David Bowie. Legend says David Bowie got beat on a drug deal, drove out to find the guy, and then smashed his own car into the dealer’s car. Over and over. Who knew Bowie was a badass?

4. Dead Man’s Curve by Jan and Dean. There were a million oldies about car crashes. Leader of the Pack by The Shangri-Las is a close second–I wavered between these two. Then there’s A Young Man is Gone by The Beach Boys (who had several others as well). Last Kiss by Wayne Cochran, made famous in the modern era by Pearl Jam. Most of these sound pretty much the same.
