My regular readers (yes, all three of you) know that I don’t have much love for British rap. But if there’s one artist who can still make me move, it’s Dizzee.
“I don’t know about algebra, but I know that I am no square!” On Don’t Gas Me, he pumps out five terrific songs, one after the other. And even admits that his nuts get a little grimey (to rhyme with that most British of phrases, “Oh, Blimey!”)
Funny, danceable, awesome party music. His best in a long time.
