Nebraska’s indie-rockers Cursive may not be a household name, but they’ve got a rabid fanbase who recognize Tim Kasher’s ability to write punky, tough songs and deliver them with no-nonsense, Fugazi-like force. Their latest album, I Am Gemini, is a concept/story record about separated twin brothers who meet for the first time as adults, angels, animated skeletons, demons, Siamese twin sisters…In other words, they’re not going for catchy, they’re shooting for depth.
It’s not your average album. But where’s the fun in being average?
They’re not offering any free mp3s or videos or streams, but here’s a song to hear while you stare at their album cover.
