I’ve been on the fence about reviewing this album. It’s clearly Logic’s best studio album ever and it ranks with his best mixtapes, too. But he continues to be a very technically proficient rapper who…Just doesn’t have a lot to say.
And yet, he couldn’t even stay retired for a year.
The beats are very good here, the entire album flows very nicely…The guest spots are all strong. The Game, Curren$y, Royce, Wiz, etc. But nothing is going to be remembered here.
I try to only write positive reviews on this site, which is why I struggled with including Vinyl Days. It’s good. It’s actually almost very good on some levels. And yet I find myself struggling to sing its praises.
