Erick Sermon, half of the hip hop duo EPMD, has been partly responsible for half a dozen gold records since 1986, so it’s no surprise that some of hip hops biggest names were eager to provide features for his latest album: No Malice, Az, Styles P, Raekwon, Too $hort, Big K.R.I.T., Pharrell, David Banner, Xzibit, Devin the Dude–to name a few. Even Shaquille O’Neal.
It’s a fun old school album–a very solid listen. Proof he’s still got it, proof hip hop was better before you were born.
And it’s 100% indie, released by Erick himself.
