On Through the Night, the first album by one of the 1980s’ most popular metal bands, came out on March 14, 1980. It wasn’t a great record, but it was the first, which makes today the band’s “birthday.” So let’s play some cover songs!
And there are some damn good ones! Not the least of which was Matt Nathanson’s most excellent folk acoustic EP of DL covers, “Pyromattia.” Here’s a cut from it, but I encourage you to go buy it off Amazon or wherever you get music.
Now, hit the break for many more!
