Time.
This is one of the most straightforward songs on the album, musically. The lyrics are somewhat obtuse–and deep. Godsmack do a phenomenal job with it.
Also recommended: I guess this is also as good a time as any to throw some props to Gov’t Mule, who covered the entire album on their “Dark Side of the Mule” DVD (in addition to a few other Floyd songs). Each cover is pretty faithful to the original, but very well performed and nice to listen to.
I’m also going to include Local H. Their version is pretty solid.
