The So Cal’s new soul scene, which feels a lot like hip hop, spawned London O’Connor in 2015–and now he’s re-releasing that indie album for all to hear. And the results are fantastic. It’s got everything: Excellent (truly excellent) production, which should make him a sought-out studio guy for the next several years, terrific lyrics, incredible real (no vocoder) vocals, and an overall vibe that makes Circle Triangle that rarest of all things: An album!
