Hearken back for the days of extended jams by the Allmans? Like prog rock with heavy guitar? Like to get stoned? This is probably the EP for you.
There’s no vocals, just lots of head-bobbing, hypnotic blues rock. It’s the kind of thing I’d never choose to listen to, but once I’m in I can’t pull my ears away. Absolutely phenomenal, the opposite of pop music, this is the kind of thing you want to hear live and loud.
The band hails from North Ireland, where I suppose there’s still enough space and open fields for music like this run free—unrushed, psychedelic, and improvisational. It’s the rock/blues equivalent of jazz. Three songs, over 70 minutes of music.
I can’t recommend this album enough.
