Mieke looks like a teeny-bopper singer, but don’t hold that against her. She writes and performs her own material, and it’s damn good. My particular favorite line is from Vulture, “I’ve written songs for you/They were not deserved/I’ve given words to you/Didn’t know their worth.” But Sleeping Alone is the obvious single off her eponymous EP.
