Like many indie rock lovers, PAWS’ fuzzy debut album got a lot of play in my headphones. Their second album, “Youth Culture Forever,” is more of the same. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. You won’t hear anything deep here–in fact, it’s hard to understand the lyrics at all–but what you will get is a joyous collection of raucous, stuttering, riff-based, garagepunk. Overall, quite tasty.
Straight outta Glasgow, and on tour. From Fat Cat records.
