Not sure why this is not getting more internet love. It’s got solid production and smart lyrics, Aktu has great flow, and the features are well-selected by other indie rappers. Rap should never have become all about big label club hits–that would be like if rock was all 1980s Rod Stewart with no cuts from his Faces years.
Some of that is okay. I mean, I dig Ice Spice and Mac Miller just like everyone else. But this kind of thing should be just as popular.
