I’m not going to talk about the fact that she always appears masked to hide her true face (like Sia, not because of COVID).
I’m going to acknowledge she’s on a major label, which is generally a reason I won’t post on someone–because the majors don’t need my help and, frankly, don’t want it. I actually got a C&D notice once from a major who told me not to host an mp3 THAT WAS HOSTED BY THE LABEL’S OWN P.R. FIRM! All I did was link to it. That was a decade ago, and I’m still pissed about it.
I’m not going to say that Leikeli47 is part of an emerging group of strong female emcees, indicating a veritable renaissance of woman rappers.
