I wanted to listen to this a few times before posting on it. I saw a bunch of reviews that shit on it for being too mainstream. But what did you expect? This is a proper album. Albums are SUPPOSED to be mainstream. It’s not a mixtape.
After a few listens, I conclude that those reviewers are just being dicks. This is a really solid record. Lots of fun. Exactly what I’d expect from a Chance album.
I also really like E-40’s latest. As with all his recent albums, it’s lots of fun. Hilarious, amazingly skillful, constantly surprising.
