Hardcore punk ska!
Hailing from San Fransisco, Spiritual Cramp are the latest hot anger band–and this EP is excellent. It has a very Clash-like feel.
Two of the songs–their eponymous song (which is both hilarious and awesome) and “I Feel Bad Bein’ Me”–have been live staples for the band, while “805 Bryant” is a slower, ska-type song. It shows the band stretching a broader direction.
As does the closer, “Bloodclot” which is almost a pop song.
