This is a damn good EP. Especially if you miss 1990s grrrl rockers like The Breeders and L7. It’s damn fine aggressive noise, with provocative lyrics (Joke/Rope is vicious)…And then you get to “What It Is” and it becomes hardcore. I mean, screaming and fast drums and hard riffs. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. In fact, it’s what makes this EP so suprising, and such a great listen. And Pig could be a Black Sabbath song–but good Sabbath, like early 1970s Sabbath.
Damn good, and well worth your time and money.
