I think I’m a little late to the party on Ghanian rapper Dee Moneey, but I”m glad I’m here now. And I might be right on time. He doesn’t even have a wiki page yet.
Omanhene is a rap album. Straight up. It’s about getting money, trapping, hustling, and rhyming over beats. It’s not a “world” rap album, either. It could have easily been created in New York or Detroit. The only hint that it’s not American is Dee Money’s accent. Chalk that up to producer Kid90.
This is Dee Moneey’s second album.
It’s excellent.
