Shamon Cassette and Memphis Reigns are two very underground rappers who team up with Remshot to make an entire album about visiting Japan. Boom bap beats, old school rhyming style, Memph started out in the ’90s, disappeared, and if this is how he returns…I’m in.
Cassette and Reigns are West Coast rappers–with more of an East Coast sound. Makes for a fantastic mix.
Can’t recommend this enough!
