Dark Tea’s new eponymous album is not their first album. It’s not even their first album titled, “Dark Tea.” Which can be a little confusing.
Gary Canino of Portishead brought together 20 of his closest friends to create an echoey, gentle, throwback album of smooth indie originals that feel at once like both California and New York. Produced by Matt Barrick (Walkmen), who also performs, modern underground punk icon Sasha Stroud.
