Last year, Juliana Hatfield–who has one of the best voices in rock–released an outstanding album of Olivia Newton-John covers. Olivia is a guilty pleasure of mine, so I was thrilled.
This year, she’ll cover The Police.
Not as thrilled with this (because I don’t love The Police–I like them, but don’t love ’em), but anything Hatfield does I will support. And who knows? Her cover of De Do Do Do is pretty good–I like it a lot more than the original!
So, in honor of the album’s release date on November 15, here’s a bunch of Police covers!
