Stef Chura comes with indie Cred. Her latest album is produced by Will Toledo of Car Seat Headrest (who also duets on the song, “Sweet Sweet Midnight.” She’s got one of those strong voices that sounds great with gravel and fuzz. And she plays a mean guitar.
Lyrics and rage like early Alanis. Vocal delivery in the range of early Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Tunes that move from accessible rock to contemplative soft-hard-soft ‘90s ballads. Shout outs to Wu Tang and The Rolling Stones.
