PAT BENATAR COVERS A to Z

M is for My Clone Sleeps Alone. The artist Flaunt did a cover with a video that’s basically an entire short film.

N is for “No You Don’t.” Betcha never knew that was a Sweet song, didja?

O. There’s a couple really good “O” Benatar songs: The Ooh Ooh Song and Outlaw Blues. I can’t find covers of either one, but here’s Pat live doing an acoustic version of Outlaw Blues. One thing about Benatar is that she is a great live performer.

P is for Pat herself, with her hubby, from the same show, covering Rick Springfield…

R is for Rachel Sweet, who wrote “Shadows of the Night,” a minor hit for Pat.

S is for Smokie who wrote, “If You Think You Know How To Love Me.” Until this moment, I had no idea that Pat and Neil didn’t write that tune. Such a great song, and the original is terrific! He also wrote “If You Think You Know How To Love Me.” Pat must have been a big fan.

T is for Treat Me Right, one of her bigger hits and a great song that doesn’t appear to have been covered by anyone, ever. So here’s Pat playing it live.

And these last letters are always tough to find, so go here for a tribute to We Belong, with lots of covers.
