Can’t wait for a new Future of the Left album? This might be for you. Pissed Jeans have survived longer than most angry punk bands–over a decade–and there’s a reason: Their lyrics are shocking and crude, true to genre, but often carry weight and depth you don’t always find with this kind of music. Hence the reference to FotL.
I’ll admit: This is my first Pissed Jeans album. So I can’t say if it’s better than the rest. All I can say is, it’s pretty damn good.
It’s full of primal male energy, but it’s coproduced by Lydia Lunch.
