I guess if you take over a decade between albums, you can expect people might have forgotten you. But somehow, she returned this year with a truly terrific record.

A slow grind from an up-and-coming female rapper. She’s better known for Me U and Hennessey, which is also good.
62. RUNAWAY-Chloe Black (Kanye West cover)
Yeah, lots of people have covered this song. I mean, lots of people. But Goddamn, she sings the fuck out of this song, turning it into a bluesy heartbreaker.

Good underground hip hop, and an appearance by MF DOOM!
