It’s January 2015, and we’ve already got a real good release for the year. Grizzlee Train’s rootsy, rockin’ debut sounds immediately classic and contemporary. Intro track “Morning Bell” could be a Meters song, but then the second cut “Soldier for You” sounds like indie rock and roll. Great percussion (really great), great rhythm, and terrific songwriting–this is a very good EP and I can’t wait to hear more from them.
