Lo Tom is what happens when members of Pedro the Lion and Starflyer 59 join forces and get in the studio. Actually, they’ve all known each other since they were kids–so that probably explains their ability to play such a loose, improvisational record–one full of riffs and short jams. And you know it’s accessible because Pitchfork only gave it a six point two. That means that normal people can like it.
This is what indie rock is all about. Great stuff.
