Alice Jemima’s new EP is pretty good, and the song Liquorice is the best of the lot. Check it out.
“I forgot more than they ever lived…” If you’re gonna be a new rapper, it never hurts to have Guilty Simpson sign on for your single. Ed. E. Ruger’s Crack in the Pavement is fucking awesome.
Vintage 50 Cent, appearing with Wordsworth, just released by Punchline.
New MF Doom, and he’s rapping about comic books. It doesn’t get better than this.
Skott’s new tune, Wolf, is kinda catchy.
The soundtrack to The Land should have been a lot better than it was, based on its including Nas, Erykah Badu, Kanye West, and this new Pusha T track. It’s still okay, it’s just not great.
Somehow I missed this cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “The River” by Moa Holmsten, which came out last year, but it’s darn fine.
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!
