ONE HAND ON THE STEERING WHEEL THE OTHER SEWING A GARDEN by ADA LEA

Yes there are many albums that have a similar sound to this one. But this one is special. Because unlike all the other ones, this one doesn’t seem to have choruses. And it’s still catchy AF. Think of Jay-Z’s “No Hook:” Indie Folk version.

In fact, it’s almost spoken word–except that Lea has a fantastic voice and she’s singing. It’s a “slice of life”–a glimpse into all that inspires her, and a poet’s view of the world.

So when you look at a sea of indie songstresses, remember that this one is not like the others. This one is beautiful.
