Very nice. L.A.’s duo offer a smooth, hipsway collection of songs about love. It’s rare to get a rap album that’s truly about the feeling of love–not LL Cool J swagger or crude sex rhymes.
It’s not a huge surprise that a rap album with a strong focus on positivity and uplift fell a little flat. It’s hard enough to get attention for something mainstream. It’s even harder to find an audience with a message like this.
But give it a listen. It’s really good! These guys have making hip hop since the ’90s and have certainly earned a place in your playlist.
