Smooth to the point of meditative, at times, and then it will bring you up with a hook-y song like “Safe From Heartbreak.” Or sneak in a ’50s style interlude with fingersnaps (“Delicious Things”). Or completely bust out like a hipsway Garbage cover on “Smile.” Or get downright punk (“Play the Greatest Hits”).
Pretty much everyone loves this. It’s a lock for the end of the year best of countdowns.
