I love this band.
I love the new video. I loved their cover of Young Turks from last year.
Priests are full of rage and promise, and they sing about it. They’re smart, political intellectuals with a song named, “Youtube Sartre” and have songs like I’m Clean that talk about “the temptation [that] has always been what lies behind the eyes/the hotblooded tramp inside your mind.” Yeah, they’ve got just the right amount of pretension.
“Like all great pornography/The story is touching/It’s something that I wanna see.”
Sexy, smart, funky and tight and fuck. Punk for the new age. Not a weak song on the album.
