E-40 had holes in his jeans before it was cool. Gift of Gab is the TWENTY FIFTH album from this rap legend, and he’s not ashamed to show his age. He’s not like anyone else you’ll hear this year, I’ll bet. His raps are unapologetically 1990s, pure drug gangsta–a “pots and pans man.” Yeah, he’s way too old to be slinging crack on the corner, but so the fuck what? He’s never grown up, and he’s as creative as ever.
