I can’t tell if this record is genuine, amateurish, cliche, brilliant, or what. Half the songs sound like someone making fun of “down home” music, but the other half feel like this is a group of super-talented people having…Fun. Imagine, music that’s fun!
I guess I don’t have to decide which adjective applies. They all do.
This one has grown on me with each listen.
