It’s kind of like Scissor Sisters, but not quite as gay. And I don’t mean “gay” as an insult. I mean that only Steven Colbert could hear Scissor Sisters’s debut and not think about guys who dig guys. It was the quintessential gay club record. I loved it. I’m straight. But it was gay.
