the end is near

Because of this bill,which makes unauthorized web streaming of copyrighted content a felony with a possible penalty of up to 5 years in prison, and the numerous bills that pop up from time to time, I think I’m getting out of the music blog business.  I’ll finish out the year, but come next year I think I’m done.  I’m pretty much done anyway, since nobody seems to read my blog to find music anymore.  I may still post funny pictures, write about comics, and talk about things that interest me, but I think I may be done….I’m just tired of it all.  Tired of the RIAA using a hammer to stop people from sharing music.  Tired of illegal downloading being blamed for an outdated business model that can’t compete with the immediacy of the internet and the portability of digital content.  Tired.  Just tired.
