SAPPHIRE KITCHEN by GEECHI SUEDE

I’m spending a lot more time on my other blog these days, devoted to the history of the Marvel Comic Book universe, so this is my first review of a 2022 album.

And I’m only doing it because it’s great!

Geechi Suede of Camp Lo–a rap duo that dates all the way back to the glory days of hip hop (1995)–has dropped another solo album and it’s my favorite thing he’s done.

The album is basically a collection of bangers produced by Vinny Knucks.

It’s just a party. No deep meaning. Nothing conscious. Just get on your feet and dance.

And with the way 2022 is starting, we all could use some help dancing.
