Deathlok #16 (1992)

This issue is the rare example of a good Infinity War tie-in.  The notion of an army of evil dopplegangers loose in the world is a cool idea, but I.W. didn’t do a good job with it.  For Deathlok, though, we’ve got a hero who started as a vicious assassin from the future and now, in his current incarnation, is basically Robocop: A nice guy stuck in a cyborg body.  His evil doppleganger isn’t a nice guy because, you know, he’s evil.

This comic continues to be much better than it should be.
