X-Men: Apocalypse vs Dracula #1-4 (2006)

This book is the lead-in to the Blood of Apocalypse mini-event. I don’t like Apocalypse stories because they all take too long to tell the same story they already told, with diminishing returns each time. At least this one is relatively short, moving from this miniseries into the X-Men title and briefly touching down in the pages of Cable & Deadpool.
This miniseries is historical. In the 17th Century, Dracula sucks the blood of Apocalypse, which makes Apocalypse subject to Dracula’s mind control.

Added bonus: Pac’s blood gives Drac a power-up.
An ancestor of Van Helsing figures it out, takes Apocalypse’s side, and frees him from Dracula’s thrall. And now everyone knows that Pac’s blood gives powers to people.
Oh, and Chamber’s ancestor is involved. That’s gonna matter in the New Excalibur tie-in to the Blood of Apocalypse event.
Not sure why Apocalypse is deemed better than Dracula, but there you have it.
Doc Samson #1-5 (2006)
Doc Samson is now working with SHIELD. He helps stop an evil skrull plot using psychiatry (by talking through an issue with the skrull). That might be an interesting series…
Sable and Fortune #1-4 (2006)
Silver Sable teams up with a new, young Dominic Fortune to weed out double agents within the Wild Pack. It starts with the reader watching as Sable gradually loses control…
