DEFENDERS #12 (2002): Series ends; Nuff Said

How ironic that a series marked by genuinely witty plot twists and dialogue ends without a word.

Actually, that’s not true.

In the second half, word balloons return and the team is able to resolve the curse and return to the status quo. We are promised a new series will rise from this one’s ashes.
