CONFINES OF LIFE by NEIGHBORHOOD BRATS

“I am not a model! I don’t act! This is not a cash grab!”

Confines of Life is sneering, screaming punk. A tribute to buddhism sung in the style of the classic punk bands of the late ’70s/early ’80s, which is where you found them straddling the line between anger and pop. Think Blondie’s first album and old live Go-Gos bootlegs. Smart lyrics that take on the environment, Harvey Weinstein, and Nazis. Oh wait. Actually, “All Nazis Must Die” is a surf punk instrumental. Kick-ass riffs and heavy bass. Drums that will pop your neck.

If you don’t find that intriguing, I can’t help you here.

Highly recommended.
