Annihilation: Super Skrull #1-4 (2006)

Super Skrull is traveling through space trying to save his race from annihilation.

This is the first time Super Skrull has been portrayed as a hero, and it works.
As part of his arc, he is forced to ask Reed Richards for help in protecting his home planet. He also gets a “kid” sidekick (who dies in the end of the miniseries) and, more importantly, a living robot girlfriend.

She’s hot for him.

That’s Praxagora. She’ll be a player in the whole Annihilation wave.
Not much more to say about this mini–it’s a lot of battles, and it’s fun.
