With the help of undercover industrial espionage spy Madame Masque, Mordecai Midas buys Stark International and renames it Midas International. Even though Tony Stark is a magnanimous corporate leader.
Iron Man sips through a straw, though, which isn’t okay anymore ’cause of the ocean and all.
Apparently, she didn’t know who she was working for, so she leaves and takes Tony Stark with her, and they go bump uglies for the evening.
The next day, he’s got an emotional hangover.
I am pretty sure this is the first time he lost Stark International, but it won’t be the last. It all gets revealed in the end. Jack of Hearts first fights Iron Man and then they team up, along with Guardsman, against Midas.
They also use a whole slew of remote-control suits.
In the end, Madame Masque and a bunch of innocent bystanders are turned into gold by Midas, so Iron Man has to recruit Hank Pym to help him change them back.
And then later he fights Growing Man.
And finally, comic book writer and editor Mary Jo Duffy appears as an autograph seeker.
