PPTSS #39-40 (1980)

First, Spider-Man takes on “The Schizoid Man” and beats the snot out of him.  Totally forgettable.  But why is Spidey acting so bloodthirsty…?

Curt Connors advises Spider-Man that the enervator, a device used to boost Spidey’s powers several issues ago, may have had side-effects.  Turns out, it was the this.  Connors eventually cures him, and the cliffhanger is for the next story: The New, Reassembled Frightful Four.
