Song-for-Song covers are risky, but this one’s pretty good. It’s not a huge departure from the original material–which was brilliant–but there’s enough musicianship here that the covers don’t feel like pointless copies.
Plus, this might be the only way to hear this album played live, since Arcade Fire have moved on to other things…
