Damage Control #3 (1989)

The D.C. team figures it needs some promotion, but commercials like the one above don’t get them enough attention so they stage a public event where Iron Man will blow up a building and they’ll fix it lickety-split, in front of all the cameras, but the plan backfires.

This book feels a little like Marvel’s version of Mad Magazine, which was called Crazy, in that it lampoons a bunch of things from comic books, has scenes with flashers and the like, and generally is a lot more silly than funny.

Creators: Dwayne McDuffie, Ernie Colon
Grade: C.  Nothing bad here, but nothing really above average either.
