Dazzler #15 (1982)

Dazzler is on a U.S. tour opening for a big pop star, and while in San Francisco she spots a van adorned with a picture of a piece of jewelry that her mother owned.  So she hires Spider-Woman, who is an SF-based private eye, to track down the van. They end up finding an abandoned SHIELD base and together they work through the base’s defenses

The implication is that Dazzler’s mother worked for SHIELD.

Throughout this issue, Dazzler never reveals her powers to Spider-Woman.

Pretty meh issue, with a fantastic Bill Sienkiewicz cover.
