THE MICRONAUTS #43-44 (1982)

The Micronauts are still trying to get home, and they ask The Avengers for help–at Wasp’s suggestion. We get this nice scene where Thor tries to use his hammer’s teleportation ability to breach the barrier to the microverse, but it doesn’t work.

The rest of these issues involve a battle against a mad scientist. It’s perfectly fine, albeit inconsequential because in the end they’re still stuck on Earth. Without Pat Broderick on art, this book suffers quite a bit.

Also, an interesting letter explaining how direct market is changing comics.
