GONE NOW by THE BLEACHERS

The new album by some The Bleachers, experts of modern pop, is exactly what you expect: Easy to listen to, familiar, and catchy. It’s also more experimental than anything they’ve done before. And that’s not always a good thing. When you make formulaic pop–even if you make very, very good formulaic pop–drifting outside the expected range has particular risks. The good news is, this album succeeds much more often than it fails.

Plus: A guest appearance by Carly Rae Jepsen!
