There may be more than a passing similarity to quite a few “new country”/neotraditional artists in the sounds of Brother Wilson’s Utopia, but don’t let their obvious North Carolina roots and influences stop you. Their sound is cleaner than a lot of their cohorts, and it’s got a lot more variety.
It’s definitely worth a listen–support the indie music circuit!
