Terrific story. It begins with a retelling of Flash’s origin, and then on page two we get a tribute to the classic Mark Waid Flash run—recognized by many geniuses (like me) as the best Flash run of all time. Most of Waid’s issues started with the words, “My name is Barry Allen…”
And then the book is literally bookended the way it began, with the origin of what appears to be a “new” Flash. It’s symmetrical, beautifully drawn, written with action and heart…An absolutely perfect comic book and a wonderful reboot.
